Hi, I am Hailey one of the event planners here at Southern Approach! I started my event planning journey because there is no better feeling than helping a client or couple achieve their dream event. Weddings can be a stressful time, knowing that I can help give them some relief and actually enjoy their special day is an amazing feeling.

Hi, my name is Christie Roueche. My journey into wedding and event planning happened completely by accident and it all started over 8 years ago when planning my best friend’s wedding! When I went to college I had no idea I would utilize my education and Communications degree for a career in event planning, but the transition happened very naturally.

If you’re planning your wedding during the coronavirus pandemic then you have likely experienced every emotion on the spectrum. I’m here to declare: FEEL YOUR FEELINGS!! It’s ok to feel however you’re feeling. Mad, angry, sad, frustrated? It’s OK. BUT! This is not the end. It’s not over. The fat lady has not begun to sing! Because this will pass and we will get through this together and our celebrations will be back in full swing soon.

Planning Kelly + James’ wedding was so special for us! Kelly’s parents own a plant nursery in Amite, LA and their home was the beautiful setting for their wedding. I LOVE planning weddings at a private residence. It brings a level of personality and unique challenges that you can’t get with any other wedding venue.
